Maine Coon cats are self sustained, with an independent temper. Male cats of this breed can reach a weight up to 15 kg, and can reach 40 cm in height.

These are charming, gullible and the most patient cats. Ragdolls should not be allowed to roam the streets unsupervised, because of their infinite trust in people they will often get into unpleasant situations. Fourth place is rightfully occupied by the British Shorthair — a muscular and strong cat with a gentle character. A distinctive feature of the British Shorthair is its independence. Despite their friendly and good-natured character, you shouldn’t expect excessive attention to your person from this cat. British Shorthair do not favor strong and long hugs, as well as kisses on the nose. A few simple gentle strokes is enough for them. Male cats can grow up to 10kg in weight.
The fifth place in the rating of the largest cat breeds belongs to Siberian cat. Siberian cats have mighty posture, free spirit and strong character, tempered by Siberian frosts. This cats have a good-natured character, a steady psyche and excellent health. Siberian cats have no concept of «closed door», literally, they can open any door in your home (unless it is locked). Siberian cats demand respect to themselves, and will not accept a commanding tone. Male Siberian cats can weight — 6 to 9 kg.
